There’s something special about gathering people together. A backyard transformed for a milestone birthday. A beautifully set table surrounded by family and friends. A tent filled with laughter, music, and memories that will be talked about long after the chairs are folded and the last guest heads home.

That feeling is what inspired me to create The Occasion House.

I’m Roxy, the founder of The Occasion House, a Colorado event rental company created with one simple idea: celebrating should feel exciting—not overwhelming.

Turning an Idea Into Something Real

The Occasion House started with a vision much bigger than simply renting tables and chairs. I wanted to create a company that could help people take an empty backyard, venue, or open space and turn it into somewhere they genuinely want to celebrate.

Planning an event can quickly become a long list of decisions. Where will everyone sit? What if it rains? Who is delivering everything? Who is setting it up? How do you make the space actually look beautiful once all the necessities are there?

I wanted The Occasion House to help answer those questions.

We offer the foundations of a great event—commercial-quality tents, tables, chairs, and event essentials—while continuing to grow into the details that make an occasion feel personal, polished, and complete.

Built From the Ground Up

I didn't inherit an event company or walk into an established operation. I’ve been building The Occasion House from the ground up—researching equipment, comparing commercial products, developing packages, building relationships with suppliers, creating our website and booking system, and learning the countless details that go into operating a dependable rental business.

And I think there’s something valuable about that.

Every item added to our inventory is considered from the customer's perspective: Would I be happy to have this at my own event? Is it dependable? Does it look good? Does it make planning easier?

Because you're not simply renting a chair or a table.

You're creating the place where someone will blow out birthday candles, open wedding gifts, toast a marriage, celebrate a graduation, welcome a new baby, or sit down for dinner with people they love.

That matters to me.

Based in Colorado and serving the Denver metro area and communities throughout the Front Range, The Occasion House is designed to make event rentals straightforward and approachable.

Our growing collection includes tents, tables, chairs, event accessories, décor and entertaining essentials, along with thoughtfully designed packages that take some of the guesswork out of planning.

We also offer delivery and setup options because sometimes the best service we can provide isn't another rental item—it's giving you one less thing to worry about on the day of your event.

And this is only the beginning.

My long-term vision for The Occasion House includes expanded décor collections, beautifully staged celebrations, proposal and picnic experiences, custom event pieces, and packages that allow customers to create an entire atmosphere rather than simply rent equipment.

Why “The Occasion House”?

I chose the name because I didn't want this company to belong to only one type of celebration.

Life gives us so many reasons to gather.

Weddings and anniversaries. Birthdays and baby showers. Graduations and retirements. Holidays, family reunions, neighborhood parties, corporate gatherings—or simply deciding that being together is reason enough.

Whatever the occasion, we want to help you make a home for it.

That's what The Occasion House means to me.

This business is being built one event, one customer, and one celebration at a time, and I couldn't be more excited to see where it goes.
